It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Connemara RFC website. It has been a long time threatening and we are very pleased to be now able to present it to you. I hope that you will find it useful and informative and we would welcome any feedback and comments that you may wish to make. It is a great honour and pleasure to be elected president of this most western and beautifully situated club – as you will be able to see from some of our photographs. I hope that many of you will be able to see it for yourselves and support us throughout the forthcoming season- you will be made very welcome. I would like to wish the senior team coaching and management of Henry O’Toole, Aidan O’Halloran, Pete Smyth and captain Gerard Burke along with all the other coaches, club officers, players and volunteers the very best for the coming season. I would also like to sincerely thank Terry Sweeney and E.J. Kings for their continued sponsorship and indeed all our other sponsors, members and supporters without whom we would not survive. Finally, I would like to thank John Claro and his team at Two Dog Café for the superb job they have done to produce our new website. Here’s to a good season and I look forward to welcoming you to Connemara RFC.
