As you all know Connemara RFC host a number of mini rugby blitzes every year. We are looking for parent’s to get involved on these days to help with supervision¬†on the pitch and with the tea’s and coffee’s in the clubhouse. The more volunteers we have, the less everyone will have to do. If you are interested please call into the clubhouse any Wednesday evening from 6.30pm – 8pm and leave your details with the Children’s Officer or phone 087 9017406.

Mini rugby is in full swing again in Connemara RFC and we¬†would like to say a big welcome to all of our new mini players and a massive welcome back to all mini squads! Watch out Ronan O’Gara and Brian O’Driscoll! The international stars of the future are in Connemara RFC.

Coaches, Assistants and Volunteers Needed!

September 15th, 2007

Connemara RFC Youth and Mini sections are looking to hear from any parents or volunteers who may be interested in helping with the next generation of future rugby stars! Youth and Mini rugby are vital components to the development of the club so we would strongly encourage anyone interested to please come on board. Currently Connemara RFC field nine underage teams from Under 18’s down to Under 8’s so theres plenty of room for lots more assistants!

Perhaps you may only want to assist the coaches, or indeed you may be keen to take up coaching. We will organise coaching courses for anyone who is interested in coming on board with Connemara RFC Youth/Mini teams. You will have the full support and encouragement of the club.

If you are interested in assisting Connemara RFC Youth and Mini Sections, you can contact the club by emailing info@connemararfc.ie or calling Youth Chairman – Peter Keane on 0876687468 or Child Welfare Officer – Irene King on 087 9017406.
